Safeguarding Due Diligence Checklist (for Safeguarding Auditor)

Use this Due Diligence Checklist to coordinate the performance of initial and ongoing due diligence procedures applied to proposed safeguarding auditors. The FCA require EMI and PI firms to satisfy themselves that the proposed auditor "has, or has access to, appropriate specialist skill in auditing compliance with the safeguarding requirements" when selecting an auditor to perform the required annual safeguarding audit.
